Texas Emergency Care Center was the proud recipient of the SouthEast Texas Regional Advisory Council’s Community Partner of the Year award for our staff’s efforts during Hurricane Harvey. Texas Emergency Care Center’s Atascocita and Pearland facilities remained open 24/7 throughout Hurricane Harvey and the unprecedented floods following. Atascocita served as a primary receiving station for Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department – Emergency Management Division and local EMS; treating a high volume of patients with emergent medical conditions.
We want to give a special thank you to the Atascocita Volunteer Fire Department, Harris County EMS, Acute Medical Services LLC., and the U.S. Coast Guard Air Station Houston for their collaboration, life-saving efforts, and resources to ensure the safety and well being of our community.
