Hey Mama…
Summer is here! Bring on the pool days, vacations, bbq’s, and quality time with your kids. It’s bound to be full of memories, and inevitably, boredom. You can only keep them entertained for so long!
Good news is, when moms put their minds together, there is no shortage of good ideas to curb the boredom and avoid the question, “what are we going to do today?”.
Our suggestion? Make a bucket list! Pull together a running list of activities you can pull from when those summer days start to feel especially long. To help you out, we’ve done some of the brainstorming for you. See below for a few new ideas to get you started:
- Make homemade ice cream
- Water balloon fight
- Visit a nursing home
- Bake cookies for the nurses at Texas Emergency Care
- Visit a farmer’s market
- Go to the Library for story time
- Play flashlight tag
- Root beer floats
- Go on a nature walk
- Fly a kite
- Write a story and illustrate it
- Put on a play for the neighborhood
- Stay in your PJs all day and watch movies
